
The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) has always succeeded in incorporating creative and effective ideas to optimize their student enrollment and provide a door to future achievement. Rottman Creative Group (RCG) carried their visions to a higher level by integrating new modern multi-media strategies into the institution’s recruitment endeavors. With modern multi-media techniques, RCG provided prospective students with a user-friendly tool that had a positive impact in creating interest in higher education and alleviating several student inquiries.

RCG developed an inventive student-DVD that targeted a youthful audience by creating a compelling 9-minute interaction with two other current CSM students who served as friendly guides during the video. Throughout the segment, they answered relative questions that were most important to the prospective: quality education, student life, financial concerns, transfer possibilities, and more. The DVD was creative, technically enhanced, comedic, and informative. More importantly, it was a vital way of inspiring students, and exposing them to a variety of future possibilities.

The DVD was distributed in a convenient and attention-grabbing pop-out booklet dressed in prideful CSM colors and designed in a way to provoke thoughts about future opportunities. It also placed a special emphasis on CSM’s encouraging coined phrase: Realize your potential. The multimedia addition to the institution’s optimizing efforts was a flawless design for inspiring the youth to bigger dreams.
