Development of a "BRAND"

Brew House Coffees

      

This year, La Plata’s treasured Brew House Coffee Café finished their final reconstruction to incorporate their new music venue in the heart of La Plata’s Main Street. Rottman Creative Group (RCG) has been involved with the Brew House Coffees for years, designing their unique brand and eclectic café menu. RCG created a brand that was amusing and trendy, with special attention to the “e” and “u” of Brew House, drawn as a red coffee cup and rising steam. Now, reaching their renovation milestone, Brew House Coffees was ready to embrace a new signature that integrated both great music and excellent coffee. RCG had the opportunity to put forth a design that blended enjoyable entertainment with distinctive taste, and the result measured up to their superior reputation.  

             

The new design combined the musical element with a red sketch of guitar, and their unbeatable coffee with a tilted coffee cup as the sound hole of the guitar. The cup shoots out strings of aromas that unify the two aspects into one lively design. The name “Brew House Live” in both Blue and Red were situated alongside the design in a fun, innovative font. In the end, it promoted an energetic atmosphere and captured a youthful spirit.


RCG also used that same energy to create Brew House Coffees’ café menu. The menu featured all coffee, bakery, and deli options on a bright, yellow cream background with swirls of white coffee designs. A few vivid graphics highlighted each title for a sketchy, colorful, and attractive enhancement to the menu. The front of the menu promoted the Brew House Live logo, as well as their catering services, locations, and main Coffee House logo. With its local, dynamic appeal, Brew House Coffees has continued to attract a great portion of the community out for its great tasting food, and now for the excitement on the stage.
