Gary Rottman, Principal/Creative Director

I spent many years of my career working at design agencies in the DC area where I used my skills to conceive, create and manage visual communications for multi-million dollar marketing plans that helped clients sell products and make a profit. I enjoyed the work, and it was always a rush to see a successful campaign take off or win an award, but something was missing.

Over the years I began to visualize about how associations and non-profits could benefit from the same branding and marketing strategies used in the for-profit sector. I knew that my knowledge and skills could help mission-minded organizations get the most out of their communications investment, which would maximize their impact and help them fulfill their mission. I couldn’t turn my back on that ambition, which lead to the founding of Rottman Creative Group. Now I spend my days helping non-profits and associations tell remarkable stories and spread their message through visual communications, and I know that my work is helping to make a difference in the world.
