Establishing Brand ConsistencyThe National Association of County and City Health OfficialsThe Advanced Practice Centers (APCs) of the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) lead the way for local public health agencies in bio-terrorism and emergency preparedness. These centers are located nationwide, each with unique programs. NACCHO brought RCG in to develop a logo for the APCs that would highlight and promote the agencies while establishing brand consistency.
The resulting logo is clean and concise. A forward moving swoosh represents the innovative structure of the APCs. Combining the color of NACCHO’s logo with those of an existing APC newsletter signified the strong relationship and enhanced the logos aesthetic appeal. Each APC used the logo with their name placed at the bottom for local promotion and recognition. RCG pulled elements from the logo to develop additional brochures, fact sheets and multimedia pieces.
As the APCs grew, RCG conceptualized a brand identity and provided guidelines for branding consistency in addition to templates for implementing these guidelines. For ease of use and transition into the APC brand, RCG designed and developed a branding CD-ROM that effectively communicated the branding guidelines in an engaging and informative manner. |
