When a corporation wants to present information about itself, one of the most useful resources that highlights the company is an annual report. Many consider an annual report to be one of the most effective tools for building integrity and credibility in a company. An annual report can help one gain a better understanding of a company’s goals and objectives, as well as offer insight into a company’s philosophy and achievements.
The National AIDS Fund (NAF) has been a commanding authority in the fight against HIV/AIDS since 1988. When it looked to showcase its many successes and future aspirations, NAF turned to Rottman Creative Group to produce their 2004, 2005 and 2006 annual reports. In doing so, RCG created a simplistic yet compelling design for the cover of the report to convey the powerful meaning, purpose and impact of the organization.
The Charles County Economic Development Commission (CCEDC) has counted on Rottman Creative Group to produce its annual report since 2001. In order to project the aspirations of the CCEDC, RCG developed and designed a graphic that emphasized a small-town atmosphere with big-city opportunities. Dubbed “The Best of Both Worlds,” this image was included in the annual report and has reaped such success that it has been used by the CCEDC since its debut in 2004. The report also received Honorable Mention recognition in the 2004 Communicator Awards.
